I mentioned in my last post that I’d be hit and miss around here for awhile, because here in the Okanagan Valley, we are smack in the middle of harvest and it’s go, go, go for a few more weeks.
As director of winemaking at Therapy Vineyards, I’m overseeing the receipt of the grapes, and as a member of a small operation, I’m in the trenches daily. Less time behind the desk, more days in gumboots.
I thought I’d drop a bunch of miscellaneous images from the past few weeks. If you have questions, let me know.
Right now at 1:40 pm Pacific, October 2nd - we’re just waiting for a little bit more ripeness on some Cabernet Franc, a pinch of Merlot and some Cabernet Sauvignon. Luckily we’ve got a spate of warmish weather kicking in this week and it will be relatively dry. Fingers crossed.
